1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Your Bright Space Cleaning website and the booking, subscription, and cleaning services we provide (collectively, “Services”). By accessing our website, making a booking, or engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Our Services
Your Bright Space Cleaning provides professional cleaning services, including:
• In-person cleaning appointments at your nominated premises
• Online booking of one-off or recurring cleaning sessions
• Paid subscription plans offering regular scheduled cleans at a set frequency
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service at any time with reasonable notice to you.

3. Bookings & Appointments

3.1 Making a Booking
Bookings can be made through our website or by contacting us directly. A booking is confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from us via email or SMS. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

3.2 Access to Premises
You are responsible for ensuring our team has safe and unobstructed access to your premises at the agreed time. If our team is unable to access the property, the booking may be treated as a late cancellation and applicable fees may apply.

3.3 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate details about your property (size, condition, special requirements) at the time of booking. Failure to do so may result in additional charges or the inability to complete the service.

4. Subscription Plans

4.1 Subscription Terms
Subscription plans provide recurring cleaning services at a set frequency (e.g. weekly, fortnightly, or monthly). By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your nominated payment method at the agreed interval.

4.2 Changes to Subscriptions
You may change or pause your subscription plan by providing at least 5 business days’ notice before your next scheduled clean. Changes requested with less notice may not take effect until the following billing cycle.

4.3 Cancellation of Subscriptions
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be issued for unused cleans within a paid period unless otherwise required by Australian Consumer Law.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellations by You
We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment: No charge
• Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the appointment: $80 of the service fee applies
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment, or no-shows: 100% of the service fee applies

5.2 Cancellations by Us
In the unlikely event we need to cancel your appointment, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer to reschedule at no additional cost. If we are unable to reschedule, a full refund will be issued for any prepaid amount.

5.3 Refunds
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the service date. Our first step is to come and re clean your home at no cost to you. If you are still unhappy, we will assess all refund requests fairly and in accordance with our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law. Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.

5.4 Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any guarantees, warranties, or rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Payments & Pricing
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. We put a hold on your credit card and payment is then taken after our service is completed. We accept credit card and debit card payments via our secure payment gateway.
We reserve the right to adjust our pricing with at least 14 days’ written notice. Continued use of our Services after a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.

7. Liability Limitations

7.1 Our Liability
Your Bright Space cleaners carry public liability insurance. In the event of damage or loss caused directly by our team’s negligence, please notify us in writing within 24 hours of the service. We will investigate and respond within 5 business days.

7.2 Limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising from our Services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for:
• Pre-existing damage or wear and tear to your property
• Damage caused by unsecured, fragile, or improperly stored items
• Consequential, indirect, or economic loss
• Loss or damage where access was not properly disclosed at the time of booking

7.3 Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for securing or removing valuables, fragile items, and pets prior to our team’s arrival. We are not liable for any loss or damage to items that were not appropriately secured.

8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Your Bright Space Cleaning website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and service descriptions, is the property of Your Bright Space Cleaning and is protected by Australian copyright law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish any content from our website without our prior written consent. Personal, non-commercial use of our website content is permitted provided you do not remove any copyright or proprietary notices.

9. Dispute Resolution

9.1 Informal Resolution
If you have a complaint or concern, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter promptly. Please reach out to us at the contact details in Section 11 and we will respond within 5 business days.

9.2 Formal Dispute Process
If we are unable to resolve your complaint informally, either party may refer the matter to mediation before initiating legal proceedings. Mediation shall be conducted in Queensland under the rules of a mutually agreed mediator or, failing agreement, through the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) where applicable.

9.3 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes not resolved through the above process shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

10. Privacy
Your personal information is collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website. By using our Services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. General Provisions
• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any booking confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Your Bright Space Cleaning.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
• Amendments: We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised date. Continued use of our Services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
